Tender Support Do you want help with tenders, bids or proposals to win contracts?
These come in many forms, such as PQQs (pre-qualification questionnaires), ITTs (invitations to tender), RFQs (requests for quotation), RFIs (requests for information), RFPs (requests for proposal) etc? High value contracts can be very attractive but dealing with corporate, government & council tenders, PQQs, RFPs etc can be confusing, time-consuming and off-putting. All have to be project managed within tight deadlines! We will work with you to coordinate this process and meet the deadlines. We will ensure that the best possible tender response is submitted. We can either help create the content for the entire document, including the commercial elements, or work with content you provide, making sure that is complete and pitched persuasively. Whatever our involvement we will ensure that the tender document scores as highly as possible when reveiwed, thereby giving you the best chance of moving onto the next stage of the bid process - probably a presentation! Tender Byte : "Now where did I put it ...?"
If you complete tender responses from to time you may recognise this feeling. You might have previously created, in the heat of the moment, some material for a tender, submitted it and then forgotten about it. You are now doing another tender. You are pretty sure that the previously written material would be really useful, but you can't find it, at least, not without wading through many files and much material. My tip is simple. When you have completed a tender response take five minutes to bookmark the material that might be useful in future. This is the time to do it, when it is fresh in your mind. Create a hyperlink to this from a central index index for all such material, and in future you will not only be able to go straight to the right file, but straight to the right place as well. All that earlier creativity won't be wasted! More Tender Bytes (written by Rob Parker and published on the Tender Services website) |
If all that stuff about bookmarking, hyperlinking and indexing doesn't make sense, give me a call. I will be more than happy to talk you through it. Contact me for more about this. |
